Vince Carter skies over JaVale McGee in the Magic’s 112-83 home-opening win over the Wizards. Carter finished with 18 points.

John Wall makes a move off the dribble in his NBA debut. Wall scored 14 points on 6-of-19 shooting to go with nine assists.

Dwight Howard powered the Magic behind a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Orlando Magic opened the season — and their new arena — with a 112-83 blowout of the Washington Wizards. The Magic shot 56 percent and had an overwhelming 53-25 rebound advantage.
